In addition to the busy working schedules, I am also driving 100~150KM per day recently.
And tonight was no difference. It was almost the end of my shift when I was paged to join a conference call to deal with sudden crashes of all databases on a DR server. Once again, it was caused by the illy done SAN migration! Although this time W took over the task to recover the databases but how much longer we have to endure this kind of “surprises”?
I rushed out the office while a Unix Admin still trying to mount the SAN LUNS, to drive to a library before going home. It was almost 9pm when I finally parked my car into the garage.
We’re talking about “fast paces”, aren’t we?
