SQL Server 2005 SP4 released

Microsoft has released its latest service pack 4 (SP4) for SQL Server 2005. In this new SP4, two of the bugs being fixed are highly relevant to our practice, as listed below:

Bug # 308002: SQL Server 2005 setup fails when MSXML Core Services 6.0 Service Pack 2 has already been installed
Bug # 555409: An access violation error may occur during the execution of Extended Stored Procedures under high stress conditions.

Now it is the time I come up a working procedure to propagate the SP4 from the testing servers, through the QA servers and eventually to the production servers.
