5. Columbia Icefield  — A “cold” face of the Rockies and a place to perceive the human impact in a negative way (climate warming up). The concrete block engraved “1992” marked the boundary of the glacier in 1992 but now it has retreated tens of feet since then.

 It is really cold and windy up on the hill while the temperature was actually 26 degrees celcius on the “ground”

But I was awed that life still blooms there:
