Kev said there had never been so many people in the Gym of ESC Renaissance — more than all of the 900 + students coming together. It could be more than a thousand people shown up to pay their last respect to Mr. Elié Ndayishimiye in his funeral service started at 11am today at ESC Renaissance in which he had been a beloved math teacher for the pas few years.
I was waiting outside and saw the whole parking lot, as well all the corners and opening areas filled up with cars. For a moment or two, I was in the emotions of surprising, touching and comforting, all mixed together. I couldn’t help to imagine how many lives had been touched and uplifted by him so that great many people came today to remember him! We feel bad for his own life being cut short, but isn’t him a person who had lived an extremely pretty, fruitful and fulfilled life?
Farewell, Mr. Elié Ndayishimiye. May peace and glory be with your soul!
